Youngest multi-organ transplant patient

Sarah Marshall (b. February 14, 1997), became the youngest recipient to receive multi-organ transplant, when on August 7, 1997, she was given a liver, a bowel, a stomach and a pancreas at London's Children's Hospital of Western Ontario, Canada. Sarah was born with the rare condition known as Megacystis Microcolon Intestinal Hypoperistalis Syndrome. She had an enlarged bladder, a small colon and an abnormal bowel
