The longest journey by an electric car on a single charge is 1,205 km (748 mi 3972 feet) and was achieved by Umit Sabanci, Kenneth Schofield (both UK) and Fergal McGrath (Ireland) driving a Lucid Air GT in Munich, Germany, on 5-6 July 2025.

The journey started in Silvaplana, Switzerland and ended in Munich, Germany.

This Guinness World Records title is about showing what electric vehicles are capable of today – not just in theory, but in action. With a WLTP range of 960 kilometers and an incredible efficiency, the Lucid Air Grand Touring is one of the leaders in the EV field – with the attempt the project team wanted to push it to the limit.
