The tallest rower in the University Boat Race is James Letten (USA), who measured 208 cm (6 foot 9.8 inches) when he rowed for Cambridge in 2017 and 2018.
Letten was inspired to take up rowing after watching the 2010 film The Social Network. He lost the 2017 Boat Race but triumphed in 2018.
