The world's most prolific TV producer of drama programmes is Aaron Spelling (USA) who has produced over 4,501 hours of television airtime since 1956, as of Kingpin (NBC, USA) in 2003. He is currently the executive producer of Summerland (USA) which is still in production.
Aaron Spelling died on 23 June 2006.Spelling's total includes 4,232 hours of episodic TV and 269 hours of TV movies.
In addition to TV, Mr Spelling has also produced 22 hours of theatrical film, bringing it to a total of 4,523 hours of entertainment since 1956.
