The largest painting measures 12,086.59 m² (130,099 ft²) and was completed by Hung Chi-Sung (Chinese Taipei) in Hualien, Chinese Taipei, on 21 June 2019.

In 2001, the Great Buddha statue of Bamiyan was destroyed. Seeing the conflicts of this rapidly changing world, Master Hung Chi-Sung decided to take a different route to reach reconciliation. He vowed to accomplish a huge painting by himself to keep the Buddha's spirit of peace forever in this world, to pray for the reconciliation of thousands of years of conflicts, and to wish for happiness and peace on Earth.

While the painting was originally finished on 9 May 2018, the artist recently added a point of gold on the Buddha's heart to symbolize opening and connecting hearts around the world. The Buddha is modeled after ones originating from the Gupta Empire.
