Ed Sheeran (UK) had spent 1,563 weeks on the UK Official Singles Chart as of 11 September 2025. This is the combined total of 88 different tracks, from the debut of “The A-Team” on 25 June 2011 to “A Little More”, “Sapphire” and “Azizam”, which all added to their weeks on the chart on 11 September 2025. Sheeran would have logged considerably more weeks had the Official Charts Company not introduced a rule limiting an act to three tracks per chart in the wake of the “Shape of You” star occupying 16 positions in the Top 20 on 16 March 2017, with every track from the deluxe version of ÷ (“Divide”).

Four other musicians had amassed over 1,000 weeks on the UK Official Singles Chart as of 11 September 2025: Elvis Presley (1,313), Drake (1,198), Cliff Richard (1,182) and Rihanna (1,156). Justin Bieber (946 weeks) is likely to be the next artist to reach the milestone.

Sheeran also holds the record for the most weeks on the UK Official Singles Chart (1,563) and Official Albums Chart (1,512) combined – 3,075 weeks as of 11 September 2025. Presley is second on 3,011 weeks (1,313 + 1,698).
