LadBaby (UK), aka Mark and Roxanne Hoyle, scored five consecutive Christmas No.1s on the UK’s Official Singles Chart in 2018–22. The duo, who have built up a loyal social-media following with videos focusing on family life with their children, first achieved a UK No.1 on 27 December 2018 with “We Built this City”, following it up with “I Love Sausage Rolls” (26 December 2019), “Don’t Stop Me Eatin’” (31 December 2020), “Sausage Rolls for Everyone” (30 December 2021) and “Food Aid” (29 December 2022), all of which debuted at the top of the chart. With “Food Aid” – based on Band Aid’s 1984/1989/2004/2014 No.1 “Do They Know It’s Christmas?” and featuring money-saving expert Martin Lewis – LadBaby extended their record over The Beatles (1963–65) and the Spice Girls (1996–98), who both achieved a hat-trick of festive chart-toppers, and the duo also broke a tie with The Beatles for the most UK Christmas No.1 singles overall.

The Fab Four’s festive hat-trick of “I Want to Hold Your Hand” (1963), “I Feel Fine” (1964) and “Day Tripper”/“We Can Work It Out” (1965) was followed by “Hello, Goodbye” in 1967.

LadBaby’s first four singles were released in aid of The Trussell Trust, a charity who “campaign for change to end the need for food banks in the UK”. Profits from the sale of “Food Aid” were split between The Trussell Trust and The Band Aid Charitable Trust.
