The highest altitude skyrunning® marathon is 5,895 m (19340.55 ft) achieved by EP Global Events Limited and World's Highest Marathon (both Gibraltar) on Mount Kilimanjaro, Tanzania on 9 May 2022.
Participants were: David Pickles, Ricky Thomas (both UK) Sandi Menchi Abahanhan, Elias Tabac (both Philippines) Roberto Delorenzi (Italy) Mussa Michael Mwakyusa, Emmanuel Paulo, Mathyo Injur, Stanley Wariel, (all Tanzania) and Kam Kaur (India)
