Largest production crew - documentary film

Producer Suketaru Taguchi (Japan) employed 556 craftsmen and technicians on Kon Ichikawa's two and a half hour documentary Tokyo Olympiad  (Jap 1965), following the 1964 Summer Olympics.  The film comprised of various shots, taken by the teams of camera crews located at various events throughout the two weeks.
