The fastest person to climb Everest twice is Mingma Tenji Sherpa (Nepal), who first reached the top at 6 p.m. on 7 May 2021 as part of a 12-strong rope-fixing team, and then returned 86 hours later at 5.30 am on 11 May, while guiding an expedition team consisting of Bahrain's Prince Sheikh Mohammed Hamad Mohammed Al Khalifa.
