The largest biryani tasting event consists of 365 participants and was achieved by DAAWAT (India) in Delhi, India, on 2 July 2023.
As the participants tasted their food, Vir Sanghvi, a prominent journalist, narrated the history and flavours involved in this exotic dish. The three types of biryani served were Lucknow Biryani, Kolkata Biryani and Hyderabad Biryani. All three with their unique flavours.
