The house at 594 Mapleton Drive is the largest Hollywood home occupying an area of 5,253 m² (56,550 ft²) and was extended by Aaron Spelling, producer of such TV series as Charlies Angels and Beverley Hills 90210 to 123 rooms. The house currently valued at $37 million (£26.4 million) includes a gymnasium, bowling alley, swimming pool and skating rink.
NB Aaron Spelling died on 23 June 2006.
Dubbed 'The Manor' by the Spelling family, the property was built after purchasing (for $10,250,000 ) and subsequently demolishing the previous house on the site which was owned by Bing Crosby.
