Emily decided to attempt this Guinness World Records title to inspire those who are specifically afflicted with cerebral palsy, those with any form of disability, and those who are able-bodied to start being active or continue to be active even when it can get hard.

She started running at age 38 and still can't believe that at age 46 she has been able to run this fast and achieve this record. Emily says that It felt so good to finish strong and say to her daughter as she finished the last stretch that she had crushed this race.
