Most followers on TikTok for a musician

The most followed musician on TikTok is Bella Poarch (Philippines; @bellapoarch) with 87.6 million followers as of 20 January 2022. As of the same date, the US Navy veteran-turned-social-media star is the third-most followed person on the short-form video platform overall.

Poarch released her debut single, "Build a Bitch" (aka "Build a Babe"), on 14 May 2021; it reached No.56 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart in the USA and No.20 on the Billboard Global 200. Her second single, "Inferno", was released on 13 August 2021.

Poarch is only surpassed in TikTok followership by Charli D'Amelio (133.9 million) and Khabane Lame (129.6 million) as of the same date.

The most followed male musician as of the same date is American beatboxer Spencer X (b. Spencer Polanco Knight; @spencerx) with 54.9 million fans. As well as posting many solo videos of his own original music, Spencer has collaborated with famous artists including Alicia Keys, Sean Kingston and DJ Marshmello. He has also performed at numerous live music events such as the Vans Warped Tour and the Bumbleshoot Festival.

Poarch can, however, boast the record for the most liked video on TikTok; her lip-synch to the song "M To The B (Soph Aspin Send)" by Millie B uploaded on 17 August 2020, has received 54.5 million likes to date.
