Largest distillers - Scotch whisky

The largest blender and bottler of Scotch whisky is United Distillers, whose Shieldhall plant in Glasgow has the capacity to fill an estimated 210 million bottles of Scotch a year. This is equivalent to approximately 160millionlitres 35milliongal, most of which is exported.
