The highest ground supported tightrope walk took place at a height of 3,557 m (11,669 ft 11.1 in), performed by Freddy Nock (Switzerland) in Pontresina, Switzerland, on 20 March 2015.
Freddy crossed a total distance of 347 m on a tightrope, climbing uphill between two mountain tops. Freddy did not use a safety harness, and the drop beneath the tightrope to the ground below was approximately 1,000 m!
