Largest collection of fruit stickers

The largest fruit sticker collection belonged to Antoine Secco of Bourbon-Lancy, France who accumulated 34,500 different fruit stickers between 1993 and 2004. On a trip to the USA in 1993, Antoine visited a supermarket and was tempted by the stickers on the fruit and proceeded to take twenty of them home with him. When he arrived back in France he noticed that French fruit contained these stickers too and was fascinated by the varieties available. It was then in June 1993 that he began to collect these officially and has since found other collectors, obtaining stickers from as far afield as New Zealand, Mexico, Brazil and Israel, amongst others.
