The most diving medals at a single Olympics (country) is 12, achieved by the USA at the 1932 Summer Olympics; and equalled by China at the 2020 Tokyo Olympic Games.
China dominated the diving events at the delayed 2020 Olympics, winning seven of the eight events and adding five silvers to take home half of the available medals. They equalled the feat of the USA at the 1932 Olympics, who made a clean sweep of all four events on the programme. Synchronized events were added to the Olympic programme in 2000, doubling the amount of medals on offer.
