The tallest cucumber plant (Cucumis sativus) measured 6.497 m (21 ft 3.8 in) and was grown by Kevin Fortey (UK) as assessed at the UK National Giant Vegetable Championships held at the Malvern Autumn Show in Worcestershire, UK, on 27–29 September 2024.
The longest cucumber fruit measured 113.4 cm (3 ft 8.64 in) and was grown by Sebastian Suski (Poland/UK) as confirmed on 20 August 2022.
Kevin and other members of the Fortey family (Jamie Courtney-Fortey, Gareth Fortey and Marjorie Fortey) also hold the record for the heaviest beetroot, which weighed 23.995 kg (52 lb 14 oz), as verified on 23 May 2019.
