The greatest number of two-egg omelettes made in 30 minutes is 427, by Howard Helmer at the International Poultry Trade Show held at Atlanta, Georgia, USA on 2 Feb 1990. Previous record set by Christopher Bracken, owner of Culinary Concerts, Madison, who cooked 396 omelets in 30 minutes - 379 of which were accepted as 'of good quality' and 'high standard.' The feat took place at the Deacon John Grave House on June 18, 1989, at a Father's day brunch where $15 a plate brunches were served to raise money for the preservation of the 1675 Grave House, the town's oldest building.
