At 18 years 359 days, Cooper Flagg (USA, b. 21 December 2006) became the youngest player in NBA history to score 40 or more points in a game. Flagg recorded 42 points while playing for the Dallas Mavericks during their 140-133 overtime loss to the Utah Jazz on 15 December 2025.
