The largest eSports team for people with disabilities is Permastunned Gaming, which was founded in January 2019 by Dutch gamer Alexander Nathan, who has a muscle condition. As of 13 December 2023, the team consisted of 37 people from all around the world.

“Cristal”, “Yakobis”, “shattovv” and “Adante” were the first four members. They founded Permastunned Gaming on the premise that no disability should be a hurdle in gaming or eSports.

The group is open to members with all forms of disability and also welcomes any video games that members prefer. Games that the collective currently specialise in are Counter-Strike: Global Offensive (CS:GO), Dota 2, Magic: The Gathering, Call of Duty and Tekken.

Although Permastunned has yet to qualify at a major tournament, its best performance to date was at the Flashpoint 3 Open Qualifier 4 organized by FACEIT, which took place on 24–25 April 2021, playing Counter-Strike: Global Offensive. The six-person team representing Permastunned won their first round, but lost in the second to a German team called “ALTERNATE aTTaX”.
