Needle threading - most times

The record number of times that a strand of cotton has been threaded through a number 13 needle (eye 12.7x1.6mm ½ x 1/16in) in two hours is 7,040, achieved by Om Prakash Singh of Allahabad, India on June 8, 1997. The event, supervised by the Rotary Club of Allahabad North, was held at El-Chico Restaurant, Civil Lines, Allahabad, India. The previous record, set in July 1993, was also held by Om Prakash Singh who threaded a needle 20,675 times in 2 hours. However, the major difference between that record and the current one is that the rules now state that the thread be taken out completely from the opposite side of the needle, whereas before the thread had to be pushed into the needle and pulled back from the same side.
