The first father, son and daughter to successfully climb Mount Everest (aka Sagarmāthā; Chomolungma), the world's highest mountain, was Tenzing Dorjee Sherpa, Sonam Tashi Sherpa and Pasang Kanchi Sherpa (all Nepal) on 23 May 2021. They reached the summit at 5.58 a.m. local time.
The first father and son to climb Everest together were Jean-Noël and Bertrand “Zébulon” Roche (both France) on 7 Oct 1990; the first mother and daughter were Cheryl and Nikki Bart (both Australia) on 24 May 2008; and the first father and daughter were Dendi Sherpa and Ngim Chhamji Sherpa (both Nepal) on 19 May 2012.
