The largest flag unfurled on a mountain is 12,215.8 m² (131,489.77 ft²) and was achieved by Blast Media Print Corp (Canada) in Grouse Mountain, North Vancouver, Canada on 3 June 2026.

This record attempt was a monumental collaboration between Blast Media Print Corp (Canada) and Grouse Mountain resort, famously known as the "Peak of Vancouver" (1,224-meter peak). To celebrate the arrival of the FIFA World Cup in Vancouver, the organizer produced a colossal Canadian flag measuring 160 meters by 80 meters (covering the size of two football fields) and weighing over 3,000 pounds. The flag was strategically deployed on "The Cut" ski run, making it heavily visible across the entire Metro Vancouver skyline.
