A bottle standing 2.3 m (7 ft 8 in) tall with a capacity of about 712l itres (157 gal) was blown at Wheaton Village, Millville, New Jersey, USA on 26 September 1992 by a team led by glass artist Steve Tobin (USA). The attempt was made during the South Jersey Glass Blast, part of a celebration of the local glassmaking heritage.
