Largest harmonica Jack J Hendrix built a wood and tin harmonica in 1928 that measured 2m 44cm (8ft) long, 30cm (1ft) high and 2.54cm (1in) wide, weighing 34kg 75lbs. It was first played at a house party given by Oliver Howard at 122 Ave. D., Rochester, N.Y. USA on Wednesday Nov. 14. 1928. The harmonica was operated by eight musicians comprising of the inventor, Oliver Howard, Guy Cosenza, Joseph Remmel, Lee Warden, Lesley White, John Tranis and Peter Hendrix, collectively known as The Flower City Harmonica Boys.
