According to Interbrand's annual "Best Brands" ranking, the most valuable brand in the world is tech giant Apple (USA), which has risen a further 43% to be worth an extraordinary $170.276 billion (£112.1 billion). This places it far ahead of second-place Google on $120.314 billion (£79.2 billion). This is the third consecutive year that Apple and Google have taken first and second places, respectively, in the report.
According to Forbes, Apple was also the largest company by market value in 2015, with an estimated worth of $741.8 billion (£481.6 billion).
