Largest washing machine pyramid

The largest washing machine pyramid is 1,496 and was achieved by Currys and Ainscough Training Services Ltd (Both UK), in Bury, Lancashire, UK, on 24 September 2021. It was a square-based pyramid with sides measuring 9.64 m (31 ft 7.5 in). The first layer had 16 X 16 washing machines and built with each layer consisting of one less on each side until a single one at the tip of the pyramid. The pyramid height was 13.60 m (44 ft 7 in). There were no wires or supporting structures to keep the pyramid intact. The attempt was made as part of National Recycling Week.
