The longest single-event triathlon (male) is 374.5km and was achieved by Will Davis (UK) in Redcar, UK on 24 June 2023.


The attempt took Will 31 hours and 54 minutes to complete. He swam 11.7km, cycled 289km and ran 73.8km. Will set out to beat the record of his employer, Steven Green, who had set the year before. Steven Green (UK) previously held the record for the longest single-event triathlon (male), setting the record at 364.4 km (226.428 miles) on 13 August 2022. His record has now been surpassed by both Will Davis and Gemma Sharples (his wife) who competed the triathlon alongside Will and set the record in the female category.
