A 545.67 carat diamond, known as the Golden Jubilee Diamond which was purchased from De Beers by a syndicate of Thai businessmen and presented to the King of Thailand to commemorate his golden jubilee. It is now mounted in the Thai royal sceptre.
This was fashioned from a 755.50 carat rough into a fire rose cushion cut and acted as the forerunner to the Centenary Diamond, the world's largest flawless top-colour modern fancy cut diamond at 273.85 carats.
