The first return ski expedition to the North Pole was achieved by Richard Weber (CAN) and Mikhail Malakhov (RUS) on 15 June 1995.
Richard and Mikhails expedition became the first unsupported expedition to reach the North Pole and return to land. The achievement has not yet been repeated.
