The largest seed ball sentence comprises of 73,918 seed balls and was achieved by PZMS, Dr. V. Srinivas Goud, S. Venkata Rao IAS, DRDA, MEPMA and Hetero Group in Mahabubnagar District, Telangana, India on 12 July 2021.
The district administration of Mahabubnagar, Telangana, under their Telanganaku Hirathaharam (forest improvement programme) mobilised women from SHG (Self Help Group) to prepare more than 20 million seed balls. These seed balls were made to be planted using unique methods such as drones across the district. The record attempt was made to mark this momentous and herculean endevour and serve to motivate the world towards a greener tomorrow.
