A specimen of the rose bush Lady Banks (Rosa banksiae), known as Banks at Tombstone, Arizona, USA, has a trunk circumference of 4.09 m (13 ft 5 in) , stands approx. 2.75 m (9 ft) high and covers an area of 743 m² (8,000 ft²) .
It is supported by 77 posts and several thousand feet of piping, which enables 250 people to be seated under the arbour. The cutting came from Scotland in 1885.
KLacey spoke to the owners in December 2002 and the measurements had not altered much than what is stated above. The area is more like 798 m² (8,600 ft²), but officially it remains at 743 m² (8,000 ft²).
