The most people balancing a plastic bottle on the head online simultaneously was 162, and was achieved by Hokkaido 179 municipality team on the set of Hokkaido Stadium in Sapporo, Hokkaido, Japan, on 10 July 2021. The attempt was done during a 2 hour special summer program. The first series of this program was in April which was the spring special. The program remotely gathers representatives from each of the 179 municipalities of Hokkaido and as one of the events during this program they wanted to do an online attempt.
