The most consecutive European Athletics Championships long jump Gold medals (male) is 2, and was achieved by Wilhelm Leichum (Germany) and Igor Ter-Ovanesyan (Soviet Union), and equalled by Greg Rutherford (UK) in Amsterdam, Netherlands, on 7 July 2016.

Wilhelm Leichum won in Turin 1934 and Paris 1938, and Igor Ter-Ovanesyan won gold in Stockholm 1958 and Belgrade 1962. Greg Rutherford equalled the feat in Amsterdam with his fourth jump of the final measuring at 8.29 m after winning in Zurich 4 years earlier.
