Julien decided to promote the sport of snow running to people who do not have regular access to snow. Summer snow-shoe training in the sand is a fun part of the sport and Julien hopes that one day the sport can become a part of the Olympic Games. The event took place in La Sablière du Nord at La Présentation in Canada which is described by Julien as "a wonderful place to run, walk and enjoy beach sand".
