Most accessible Prime Minister

With the exception of the leaders of some of the worlds micro-states, the most accessible head of government is the Danish prime minister Poul Nyrup Rasmussen whose home telephone number is in the public domain. Rasmussen (1993 - 2001) was known to personally answertelephone queries from Danish citizens. Openness in government in Denmark extends to the sovereign: any Danish citizen may request a personal audience with Queen Margrethe II.
