The country which has the most siblings in powerful governmental offices is Saudi Arabia with six. The current Head of State is King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud (b. 1924), who ascended to the throne following the death of his half brother King Fahd (1923 - 2005) on 1 August 2005. The king also holds the position of Prime Minister and Commander of the Saudi National Guard. The king's other half brothers hold the following positions:- Prince Sultan bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud (b. 1924 - 1928) Crown Prince, Deputy Prime Minister and Defense Minister; Prince Nayef bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud (b. 1933 - 1934) Interior Minister; Prince Abdel-Rahman bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud (b. 1931), Deputy Minister of Defence; Prince Salman Bin Abdul Aziz Al-Saud (b. 1936) Governor of Riyadh; Prince Ahmed bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud (b. 1940), Deputy Minister of Interior. Their father King Abdulaziz bin Abdulrahman Al-Saud (c. 1880 - 1953) had 37 sons. Abdulaziz Al-Saud (rather than Abdul Aziz Al-Saud) is the usual way of writing the names.
