The most northerly city, and the northernmost national capital, is Reykjav¡k, Iceland (64º08'N). As of 2010, its population is nearly 200,000,approximately two-thirds of the overall population of Iceland. The most northerly capital of a dependency is Nuuk (formerly Godthåb), Greenland (64º15'N). Its population was 13,700 in 2001.
