WR 25 is a Wolf-Rayet star in the Trumpler 16 cluster within the Carina Nebula, around 7,500 light years from Earth. The presence of a companion star makes it difficult to ascertain the absolute luminosity of WR 25 but it is believed to be around 6,300,000 times more luminous than the Sun.
