Largest collection of energy drink cans

The largest collection of energy drink cans is 1100 and was achieved by Matthew Lakusta (Canada) in Hay River, Northwest Territories, Canada, on 2 March 2025.

Matthew started collecting energy drinks when he was a teenager and would put them up on the shelf above his bed. He was drawn to the cool designs and fun labels. Now, 16 years on, he is still collecting items whenever he can, including on his travels.

For Matthew, energy drinks have a curious history in our society. He notes that when they were first introduced they were combatted against, but are now a common and popular substitute for coffee/tea. "They are cherished by many and loathed equally so. They truly are infamous, and I am proud to have been on this journey with them - and would love to raise them to this Guinness World Records echelon they deserve."
