For the purposes of this record, artificial hair extensions are permitted provided that they are added to the person's existing natural hair. For the attempt, Laetitia - an artist known for creating sculptures from her hair - braided her natural hair before adding the longer extensions and connecting the two sides together to form a 'rope'. She decided to attempt this record to to inspire people to nurture and celebrate their talents.
