The lowest attendance at a world heavyweight championship boxing match is 1,000 people, at the Anthony Joshua (UK) vs Kubrat Pulev (Bulgaria) Fight, at Wembley Arena, London, on 12 December 2020.
Due to COVID-19 restrictions at UK sporting events, Anthony Joshua's mandatory defence of his IBF, WBA, WBO and IBO Heavyweight World Titles had to take place in front of a limited crowd at SSE Wembley Arena. AJ won the fight by knockout in the 9th round after a powerful right hand floored the Bulgarian, Kubrat Pulev.
