Edward Henry (Harry) Greb (USA) (1894-1926) was unbeaten in a sequence of 178 bouts, but these included 117 `no decision', of which five were unofficial losses, in 1916-23.
Of boxers with complete records, Packey McFarland (USA) (1888-1936) had 97 fights (5 draws) in 1905-15 without a defeat.
Pedro Carrasco (Spain)  won 83 consecutive fights from 22 April 1964 to 3 September 1970, drew once and had a further nine wins before his loss to Armando Ramos in a WBC lightweight contest on 18 February 1972.
