Longest canoe journey without portages

Without portages or aid of any kind the longest is one of 9,820 km (6,102 miles) by Richard H. Grant and Ernest Moose Lassy circumnavigating the eastern USA via Chicago, New Orleans, Miami, New York and the Great Lakes from 22 September 1930 to 15 August 1931.
