Mithali Raj (India) played 333 international matches between 26 June 1999 and 27 March 2022. This was made up of 232 One-Day Internationals (ODI; 1999–2022), 89 T20 Internationals (T20I; 2006–19) and 12 Test matches (2002–21). She scored 10,868 runs across all three international formats, including 7,805 in 211 ODI innings over a period of 22 years 274 days – the longest ODI career on record (male or female).

The 39-year-old right-hander averaged 50.68 runs per innings in the 211 ODIs in which she batted, 43.68 in her Test career (19 innings) and 37.52 in T20Is (84 innings), scoring a combined total of 85 50-plus scores and eight hundreds (seven in ODIs). Her highest Test score of 214 was made against England in Taunton, Somerset, UK, on 15–17 August 2002. Raj announced her retirement from all forms of international cricket on 8 June 2022.
