The farthest distance travelled between two clubs in the top division of a professional national soccer league is 9,689 km (6,020.47 miles) between the home grounds of FC Luch-Energiya Vladivostock and FC Kuban Krasnodar in the 2007 Russian Premier League. Vladivostock is on the Far Eastern coast of Russia while Krasnador in on the Kuban River close to the Black Sea where Russia´s western border lies. In the 2007 season they played on two occassions, FC Luch-Energiya drew 1-1 in the Kuban Stadium, Krasnodar on 19 May 2007 while FC Kuban Krasnodar lost 1-0 when they traveled to Dynamo Stadium, Vladivostock on 22 September 2007. That season Kuban Krasnodar were relegated from the Russian Premier League. The journey by the M58 road is estimated to take 116 hours.
