The oldest international footballer is MacDonald Taylor Sr (US Virgin Islands, b. 27 August 1957), who played for the US Virgin Islands aged 46 years 217 days in a World Cup Qualifier against St Kitts and Nevis in Warner Park, Basseterre, Saint Kitts and Nevis, on 31 March 2004. St Kitts and Nevis won the game 7–0 to progress to the next round. MacDonald Taylor played in defence; it was his fourth World Cup Qualifier for the US Virgin Islands.
