The lowest score (72 holes) at the US Golf Masters is 268 (-20), and was achieved Dustin Johnson (USA), at Augusta National Golf Club, Georgia, USA on 15 November 2020.
The 2020 Masters having been moved to November rather than traditionally in the spring meant the course had a different feel for the players, the course was without its famous bursts of colour given by Magnolias and Azelea and instead had a much more Autumnal look. What the course took away in aesthetics however it gave in softer greens allowing the players to take advantage of some lower scoring which Dustin Johnson the world number one heading into the tournament took full advantage of. With rounds of 65,70,65 and 68 Johnson became the 11th man to become a wire to wire champion at Augusta, joining the likes of Arnold Palmer (1960, 1964), Jack Nicklaus (1972) and Seve Ballesteros (1980).
